California Dreamin’ – World Tea Expo 2015 Part 1 – Back to Long Beach

California-Dreamin-Blog-Image-2015Time for me to revisit the California Dreamin’ blog series I started for last year’s World Tea Expo.  The 2015 Expo returns to Long Beach, California, this May 6-8.  The Expo promises to deliver critical and timely education, and explore the top tea trends and emerging tea issues in North America and beyond. Attendees and exhibitors will experience meaningful business and networking, explore tea and health, enjoy the winners tasting circle of the North American Tea Championship, and celebrate together during another elegant evening aboard the Queen Mary as the tea community is recognized through the second annual World Tea Awards.

If you missed the 2014 World Tea Expo in Long Beach, I can tell you that it was a highly successful show, very well attended.  If you would like to know more about last year, please click here to read my 2014 post-show coverage.

In planning for the 2015 World Tea Expo, first things first, make a plan for how you will spend your time at the show. Study the conference schedule.  Take into account that the first night (May 6) will feature a Networking Reception. The second night (May 7) will focus on celebrating and recognizing the success of tea industry leaders aboard the Queen Mary for the second annual World Tea Awards. Tickets are available through general show registration. Please remember that the World Tea Awards affair is black tie optional. (Preferred and encouraged attire includes a tuxedo for men and a gown for women).  Nominations for World Tea Awards are open to tea industry professionals now through Thursday, March 19.  Click this link to access the Nomination Survey for 2015.

BEV1401 0798For best pricing, you will want to register for educational sessions before April 16, sooner if you want to ensure seating at the World Tea Awards – It sold out last year! Sponsorships for the World Tea Awards dinner are requested before the end of March since program ads will be due at that time. Click here for a World Tea Awards Sponsorship form.

As you can see, the 2015 World Tea Expo is on track to provide yet another invaluable gathering place for learning, networking, and rubbing shoulders with not just the leaders but an entire group of wonderful tea industry professionals.  I look forward to seeing you there and please watch this blog and the World Tea Expo website for continual updates leading up to the greatest event in tea this May.

Until next time, I remain California Dreamin’. . .
