Darth Vader Tea Kettle
Banbury, England-based The Fowndry introduced a Star Wars-inspired Darth Vader-shaped tea kettle. Its silhouette resembles Darth Vader’s cape and helmet and is complete with a light saber-shaped handle.
This officially licensed, stainless-steel stovetop kettle is 9 inches by 7 inches and holds 1.7 liters of water and weighs 1.15 kilograms. It works on all stovetops, including induction and can also be taken on camping trips to the nether regions of the galaxy.
It is a great gift for people who love Star Wars as much as they love tea. The tea kettle retails for $70.
Bredemeijer Introduces Five New Teapots
Utrecht, Netherlands-based Bredemeijer launched five new teapot designs that range from traditional to modern.
Teapot single walled with filter
The company debuted two sleek stainless steel teapots: the Teapot Duet Design Sven and the Teapot single walled with filter. The Teapot Sven is double walled, which improves heat retention. The single walled teapot holds 1.5 liters, comes with a filter and has a satin finish.
For those who like the traditional Chinese tea ceremonies, Bredemeijer offers its Shanxi gift set, comprised of a black cast iron teapot and two white porcelain teacups with black stripes.
Teapot Yantai
Bredemeijer’s classic Bella Ronde teapot is back this year in two new iterations. The Bella Ronde is now available in mint green, as well as in a flat-bottomed version.
The Teapot Yantai with matching porcelain teacups comes in two new colors: green and black. The floral pattern on the teacups matches the teapots’ lids.
Smoko Introduces a Unicorn Tea Set

Los Angeles-based Smoko introduced its whimsical ceramic Elodie Unicorn Teapot, along with a unicorn teacup and saucer.
The cheerful teapot is a round unicorn with pink ears, a rainbow tail and a smile on its face. Its gold horn doubles as a pour spout. It is topped with a blue lid with white polka dots. The saucer’s pattern matches the lid.
This tea set is an addition to the company’s Elodie unicorn line, which also includes mugs, a ramen bowl, salt and pepper shakers and a humidifier.
The teapot holds about 27 ounces, or 4.5 cups.
