GT’s Living Foods Launches Bloom for Spring
Earlier this month, GT’s Living Foods introduced its limited-edition springtime-inspired kombucha called Bloom. This seasonal flavor is a light, floral mixture of elderflower, jasmine and violet. It will be available in stores nationwide through June 30. GT’s is partnering with Born This Way Foundation while Bloom is on shelves. GT’s encourages customers to post a selfie on social media with a bottle of any GT’s beverage and hashtag the photo with #InFullBloom. Then, GT’s Living Foods will donate $5 dollars to Born This Way Foundation for each photo posted and the proceeds will go toward empowering youth. The company will donate up to $50,000 dollars. “All people have the power to grow and evolve, and our intention with this campaign is to motivate people to be the best version of themselves,” said GT Dave, CEO and founder of GT’s Living Foods via press release, “We are truly honored to collaborate Bloom with Born This Way Foundation, and encourage our communities to support one another.” Like the rest of GT’s kombucha flavors, Bloom is handcrafted, organic and packed with probiotics.Mobtown Fermentation Added to Its Wild Kombucha Line
Baltimore-based kombucha brewer Mobtown Fermentation recently debuted a new flavor addition to its Wild Kombucha line: Tart Cherry Ginger. This is the company’s fifth all-natural kombucha. It is made with a green tea base with added organic tart cherry and ginger juice. “I’m excited to be adding a spring flavor to our line,” said Sid Sharma, owner of Wild Kombucha, via a press release. “Cherry is one of the most popular flavors there are, especially in the warmer seasons, and pairing it with ginger has created a unique kombucha that I think people are really going to enjoy.” The Tart Cherry Ginger kombucha will be available at more than 300 locations in the mid-Atlantic area that sell the Wild Kombucha brand, including Whole Foods Market.Target Welcomes Kombucha
Target now offers kombucha under its own health focused Simply Balanced brand, once again exemplifying how the fermented tea has gained mainstream appeal. It comes in four flavors: Ginger, Mango, Bblueberry-Grape, and Raspberry, Lemon and Ginger. The price point for Simply Balanced kombucha is lower than average at $2.79 per bottle.
