ITO EN Debuts 3 New Matcha Love Flavors
Brooklyn-based ITO EN (North America) INC. has added three new flavors to its premium matcha LOVE Tea bag line, bringing the total up to six. The new matcha blends are: Blueberry+ Lavender, Peach+ Cinnamon and Turmeric+Yuzu. The other flavors in the collection are: Traditional, Apple + Ginger and Lemon Verbena+ Peppermint. The blends of matcha ground tea leaves and loose leaf tea come in single serve packets that can be brewed hot or cold. Barre, Vermont-based vinegar and apple sauce company Vermont Village has introduced its first functional vinegar, Green Energy. Green Energy is a mix of organic apple cider vinegar, organic honey and organic matcha. Its moderate caffeine content provides energy while L-theanine helps support a feeling of calmness. Additionally, the functional vinegar has a healthful amount of antioxidants. Green Energy can be added to hot and iced teas, smoothies and water.
