Crystal Geyser water company partnered with Intelligent Blends to create Tejava iced tea single serve pods, according to a company press release. Tejava is natural, unsweetened black tea sourced from the island of Java in Indonesia. Intelligent Blends is a company that manufactures single serve pods. Nearly one-third of U.S. households own a single serve brewer, according to the press release. This partnership will enable Tejava to tap into this segment of the population. Famous Tea launched in Russia and has designs of famous people made out of tea leaves on its packaging. The designs were created by Yekaterinburg-based design agency Pride and are renderings of celebrities including Benedict Cumberbatch, John Lennon, Queen Elizabeth II. The designs signify a celebration of tea’s connection to British history while attracting Russian consumers who want high quality tea.
