Basalt, Colorado-based tea company Two Leaves and a Bud announced via press release three new top-requested and trending tea blends, each with unique attributes and full of flavor. All of the new blends are packaged in boxes of 15 individually wrapped sachets.
Organic English Breakfast
English Breakfast is a traditional tried-and-true favorite blend to start the day. In response to popular demand, Two Leaves and a Bud now offers its very own Organic English Breakfast tea. The company’s English Breakfast consists of organic full-leaf Indian tea—creating a more robust, full-bodied flavor than the typical English Breakfast tea. Furthermore, each sachet is packed with 3.2 grams of tea, rather than the 3 grams that fill the company’s Assam tea sachets or the 2.5 grams that fill the other black tea sachets.
Organic Matcha Mint Green
Matcha has taken the United States by storm because of its wellness benefits and versatility. Two Leaves and a Bud created a healthy blend of premium stone ground matcha, green tea and peppermint. A hint of goji berry completes the energizing, refreshing mélange.
Matcha is packed with antioxidants, chlorophyll and vitamins. It also has L-Theanine, which induces a calm alertness.
Organic Turmeric Antioxidant
Turmeric has long been used in Ayurvedic medicine for its anti-inflammatory properties. Two Leaves and a Bud’s caffeine-free Organic Turmeric Antioxidant blend is a delicious way to consume turmeric, along with other beneficial herbs and spices. The flavor resembles that of an herbal chai as it contains rooibos, cinnamon, ginger, coriander, cardamom, black pepper, orange peel and more.
This blend is the fifth in the company’s Purpose-Filled Tea collection. The other four blends in the line are: Organic Energize, Organic Detox, Organic Hydrate and Organic Invigorate. The company donates 1 percent of sales from this line to Protect Our Winters, a climate advocacy organization.
“Diminished and quickly melting snow packs in mountain ranges all over the world puts drinking water and agriculture at risk, including tea gardens,” said Marketing Manager Christy Garfield.
Two Leaves and a Bud is based in Colorado’s Roaring Fork Valley in the Rocky Mountains near Aspen where the effects of warmer, shorter winters are felt in the ecosystems and the economy.
