Uber Flavour Ice Tea, which is based in South Africa, offers four blends that consist of caffeine-free Rooibos tea, freshly squeezed juices and other natural flavors such as honey. Minneapolis-based Matchaah introduced MATCHAAH! Shots. Matchaah is focused on producing premium-quality matcha beverages. The shots are available in three flavors: Lemon-Lime, Blueberry and Raspberry. Role Tea launched a new collection of ready-to-drink iced teas that support wellness. The teas have anti-inflammatory ingredients such as ginger, cinnamon and turmeric. “Consumers are looking for better-for-you alternatives to beverages they drink regularly without compromising taste,” said Mike Johnson, the CEO and co-founder of the Washington, D.C.-based company, in a press release. Few ingredients cover the 'better for you' part of that equation like turmeric.” Johnson added, “We’ve come to learn a lot about the benefits of incorporating more anti-inflammatory foods into our diets. Inflammation-related ailments are a real issue that we hope to build awareness of through our products and community involvement.” The teas are available at Whole Foods in the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. in Maryland and Virginia. Role Tea will expand its distribution to up to 25 additional Whole Foods Markets in June and retail at under $3 dollars per 12 ounce bottle.Coffee Flavored Kombucha
Health-Ade Kombucha, based in Los Angeles, introduced their coffee-flavored kombucha on May 15. It is prepared by combining the company’s original kombucha, which is fermented organic green and black teas, along with matcha tea powder, and cold brew coffee concentrate, resulting in a distinct combination. “So many of our fans drink our kombucha and coffee, so why not put them together? The newest Super - Tea flavor is just that: our delicious smooth brew that finishes like your morning cup of joe,” said co-founder and CEO Daina Trout in a company press release. It can be found at Whole Foods Markets in Southern California, Nevada, Arizona and Hawaii; its distribution will expand to more retailers across the U.S. in 2018. Its suggested retail price is $3.99 for a 16 ounce bottle.
