While many of us will be weeping in our teacups over the arrival of the final season of Downton Abbey on PBS, at least those cups might be filled with some new flavors.
The Republic of Tea has added three new teas to its Downton Abbey tea collection. Crawley Sisters Tea is a rooibos blend with strawberry and chocolate flavors. Afternoon Garden Tea is an herbal combination of orange bergamot mint, lemon thyme and blackberry leaves. Downton Abbey Holiday Cheer Tea combines rooibox, vanilla and cinnamon. Each of these teas retails for $12. An additional collector’s edition release, Downton Abbey Legacy Tea, will be added in November.
For customers thinking about holiday gifts, there will be a Christmas Gift Set which will include both Downton Christmas Tea and the new Holiday Cheer Tea. A five-tea gift set will be on the market in November.
The Republic of Tea has made a big commitment to this Downton Abbey line. They already have two herbal blends: Lady Cora and English Rose, as well as four black tea offerings: Butler’s Pantry, Mrs. Patmore’s Pudding Tea, Bates’ Brambleberry and Grantham Breakfast Blend.
The Republic of Tea was founded in 1992 and has earned wide distribution of its sizeable tea collection. They often develop specialty tea lines honoring books, films or charitable organizations.
