YIELD: Serves 12-20
INGREDIENTS
• 1 Tea Forté Harvest Apple Spice pyramid infuser or 2 tbsp loose tea
• 2 cups sugar
• 4 cups apple cider
• 750 ml aged rum
• 2 cups fresh lemon juice
• 1 cup Angostura bitters
• 375 ml club soda
• 12-24 cinnamon sticks (one or two to garnish each serving)
• 2 whole apples thinly sliced
PREPARATION:
For Harvest Apple Spice Syrup: Steep pyramid infuser or loose tea in 6oz. of near boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Discard infuser or loose tea and set tea liquid aside. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add 6 teaspoons of tea liquid and remove from heat. Add sugar and stir well to dilute. Cover, let stand for 10 minutes, then strain into a separate container.
For the cocktail: Pour 2 cups of the Harvest Apple Spice syrup, apple cider, rum, lemon juice, and bitters into a punch bowl and mix well. Chill with a large ice block or 5 cups of ice and top with club soda. Garnish punch bowl with sliced apples. Garnish each cup with cinnamon stick(s).
