The Nevada Tea Festival is back for its second year, celebrating the world's finest teas and the joy of tea culture in the Western U.S. This year’s festival will be held on Saturday, October 26th, 2024, at the Casino Fandango in Carson City, Nevada, coinciding with the much-loved Nevada Day celebrations.
Founded in 2023 by Dr. Sally Wei, former director of the Midwest Tea Festival, the Nevada Tea Festival aims to bring tea enthusiasts, industry professionals, and tea connoisseurs together for a day of discovery, learning, and pure enjoyment. The rich lineup of activities includes tastings, expert talks, and networking opportunities.
This year, the festival is thrilled to welcome Tina Jesson as its opening guest speaker. Tina, a renowned tea room consultant from the UK, will join remotely from her consultancy. Tina brings a wealth of experience, having successfully launched four tea rooms in Indiana during her time in the USA. Her session will provide invaluable insights into opening and running a successful tea room, offering practical tips for both aspiring and current tea room owners. Festival attendees will also have the opportunity to ask Tina questions directly, tapping into her extensive expertise in the tea business.
In addition to her keynote, signed copies of Tina’s bestselling book, Tina’s Traditional Book of Scones, will be available exclusively for festival attendees.
