World Tea Expo, the leading gathering for the global tea community, returned to the Las Vegas Convention Center, March 24-26, 2025, bringing together 10,984 attendees, leaders, buyers, suppliers, and innovators. Co-located with Bar & Restaurant Expo, the two events transformed the Las Vegas Convention Center into a hub of innovation, collaboration, and discovery.
For the first time, World Tea Expo was held on the second floor of the convention center, allowing for an expanded expo floor and enhanced attendee experience. The official ribbon-cutting ceremony, sponsored by Tea Capital Shizuoka, took place on Tuesday, March 25, and featured a special performance of the beloved Japanese song “Sukiyaki” by Reiko Wake, Japanese tea ambassador and singer, welcoming attendees with cultural flair.
This year’s expo offered a vibrant showcase of the latest tea innovations and global offerings. At the International Pavilions, guests sampled exquisite teas from countries including Japan, China, India, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam, while the interactive Tea Bar served as a central destination to discover new trends, meet expert tea makers, and experience flavorful, ready-to-drink creations firsthand.
A highlight of the event was the announcement of the 2025 Global Tea Championship winners. This prestigious competition honors the world’s finest teas across multiple categories, including matcha and loose-leaf varieties, and celebrates excellence in tea production and quality.
