After a long and in-depth discussion with the Advisory Board, we will be rolling out a simpler conference format for beginner, intermediate, and advanced attendees with new tracks:

But there are a lot of classes to choose from, and you may not know where to start! So, we’ve created a handy guide to our conference program for all levels of tea aficionados.
Beginners in the Tea Industry
If you are just starting, we recommend taking the following classes:
Sunday Tea Primer Certification: This is a can’t-miss session for those new to the industry! Covering the basics of tea, this 101 class will cover everything you’d ever want to know about the tea industry.
Monday Tea Incubator: We recommend beginners choose The Business of Tea session, which will show you how to turn passion into profit.
Tuesday Tea Incubator: Those just starting out in the industry will benefit most from the Skill Building session on Tea & Cheese Pairing.
Wednesday Tea Incubator: Opt for the Skill Building session on Artisan Teas of the World to expand your knowledge on quality teas. Skill Building session
General Sessions: This pass also includes access to any conference sessions on Tuesday-Wednesday to help further expand your scope of knowledge on the tea industry.
Intermediate and Advanced Attendees in the Tea Industry
Those more experienced in the industry are encouraged to purchase the Tea Guru Pass as well, but we recommend choosing the following Tea Incubator programs:
Monday Tea Incubator: Advanced Business Strategies will go beyond the basics to help you level up your tea business.
Tuesday & Wednesday: Attend either or both Tea Incubator Skill Building sessions, or you can opt to attend one or more of the many general sessions offered across both days.
Additional Opportunities
World Tea Academy Live: This year we will also be offering World Tea Academy (WTA) Live classes with new WTA Director Sharyn Johnston, who has added several new features to the program. This is a pre-conference event and will require add-on tickets. 101 Botanicals & Blending Botanicals w/Sharyn Johnston On Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 1:00pm to 6:00pm, WTA will be holding a class on the 101 of Blending Botanicals. More WTA classes will be announced soon.
More Than Education
When you attend World Tea Expo, be sure to venture beyond the classroom!
The Expo Hall will be open on Tuesday and Wednesday to help you round out your education by gaining exposure to teas and tea products from around the globe. The Expo floor will be filled with international pavilions, the Tea Bar, tea suppliers, tea packaging, tea exporters, and more!
