Los Angeles, California-based GT’s Living Foods recently introduced ALIVE, its Ayurvedic-inspired line of adaptogenic sparkling teas. The new collection incorporates three types of adaptogenic mushrooms: Reishi, Chaga and Turkey Tail, and blends them with different teas and a touch of raw apple cider vinegar. “The result is a light, refreshing beverage that helps support the body’s ability to fight stress and balance your natural energy,” states a company press release.

According to GT’s Living Foods, each type of adaptogenic mushroom has special characteristics. Reishi, known for its healing properties is nicknamed the “mushroomed of immortality.” Chaga is a natural anti-inflammatory possessing antioxidants, and the Turkey Tail mushroom is noted for its immune boosting properties. All of the mushrooms used in the ALIVE beverages are sourced from the wild of the Pacific Northwestern United States.

The ALIVE collection is comprised of six clever flavors: Pu-Erh Root, Cascara Spice, Mate Mint, Matcha Vanilla, Guayusa Turmeric, and Black Lemon.

“As consumer interest and consumption of adaptogenic foods began to increase, coupled with the demand for holistic alternatives to combat daily stress, I saw a huge gap in the market for a functional wellness beverage,” said GT Dave, founder of GT’s Living Foods via press release. “Inspired by ancient practices of holistic health, I’ve combined sacred gifts from Mother Nature to craft ALIVE to help re-center the mind, restore the body, and revitalize the spirit.”

ALIVE is now available at Whole Foods and other natural food stores nationwide.

Aliso Viejo, California-based Simple Life Beverages announced the release of its new collection of hemp-infused teas and waters in May.

The monk fruit sweetened teas are available in Yerba Mate and Green Tea blends.

The Green Tea blends are: Lemongrass & Ginger, and Lemonade.

The company’s Hemp H2O line has three flavors: Hibiscus, Cucumber & Lime, and Passionfruit & Apple.
