Denver, Colorado-based artisanal tea company, Teakoe launched organic carbonated ready-to-drink teas in October, reported the San Diego Union Tribune.

The new collection consists of four blends: Pineapple Lemon Myrtle Yerba Mate, Pomegranate Hibiscus Green Tea, Pear Garden Mint White Tea and Signature Cold Brew Black Tea.

The company prides itself on its sustainable and ethical sourcing and promotes a healthy lifestyle. One way in which Teakoe supports wellness is by using raw honey, herbs or fruit juice to sweeten the teas.

Toronto, Canada-based coffee company, Station, now offers ready-to-drink cascara sparkling teas, reported BevNet.

Cascara (which is the Spanish word for “peel, skin or husk”) is made from the peal that surrounds the coffee bean. It is most often regarded as coffee waste and either discarded, incorporated into compost, or used as livestock feed. Historically, it has also been consumed as a tea in Ethiopia and Yemen.

Cascara is packed with antioxidants and electrolytes and its flavor has been described as cherry-like, and “slightly sweet” with “floral notes.”

Mitchell Stern, Co-Founder & VP Sales & Marketing for Station said the company is able to utilize the coffee supply chain while supporting the farmers and entering a new beverage category.

Right On Brands Debuts Sparkling Hemp-Infused Teas

Carrollton, Texas-based Right On Brands, Inc., which produces a wide array of products containing hemp and CBD has broadened its repertoire with its new line of hemp-infused sparkling teas, reported BevNet.

The sparkling teas are part of the company’s Humbly Hemp collection, which also contains five new energy bars.

The Humbly Hemp collection was developed in a collaborative effort with Lipari Foods. Vic Morrison, Executive Vice President of Business Development said Right On Brands intends to distribute the line through Lipari’s 14 state distribution territory, which includes much of the Midwest, half of Pennsylvania and four southern states.
