Budding Products: Navy SEAL and Starbucks Offer Sugar-Free White Teas

Former Navy SEAL Launches Jocko White Tea

Jocko Willink, a retired Navy SEAL officer, Co-Founder and CEO of leadership consultancy Echelon Front and author, launched Jocko White Tea in ready-to-drink and tea bag formats. Willink’s refreshing ready-to-drink blend combines pre-brewed organic white tea, organic hibiscus, organic lemongrass, organic dried pomegranate, and organic natural flavors. It comes in 16-ounce cans that are grouped in packs of 10. The Jocko White Tea individually wrapped tea bags contain the same ingredients and are packaged in tins of 25 and 100. Both formats of the tea-botanical blend can be purchased on the company’s website, www.jockotea.com. Additionally, Willink offers tea lovers a ceramic mug with the encouraging words “Get after it” printed on the side. It is microwave safe and requires hand-washing. Willink hosts the Jocko Podcast and wrote of the best-selling book, Extreme Ownership.

For those following the Ketogenic Diet or other diets low in sugar and carbohydrates, Starbucks has the Peach Citrus White Tea. This beverage is a spin-off of the chain's Peach Citrus White Tea Infusion, which is a blend of Starbucks Iced White Tea blended with fruit and botanical flavors, reports Delish. The Keto-friendly Peach Citrus White Tea consists of unsweetened Peach Citrus White Tea, a dollop of heavy cream, 2-4 pumps of sugar-free vanilla syrup and ice. It can also be prepared as blended beverage. Its flavor has been likened to that of peach cobbler.
