Tarzana, California-based California Tea House debuts its aphrodisiac Apricot Chai just in time for Valentine’s Day. The organic blend consists of loose leaf black tea, peaches, apricot preserves, vanilla beans, ginger, cloves and citrus peel. The company came up with this blend after researching ancient treatments for a low libido. In Mexico and Argentina, vanilla is consumed to increase sexual vigor, according to a company press release. It adds that in France and Kenya, cloves and ginger are used to increase circulation. The company describes the tea as “a well-balanced and extremely potent brew.”
