Kathleen Kern, founder of Churchill's Fine Teas, is humbled and honored to announce that her customers and the greater Cincinnati populace have voted Churchill's Fine Teas, 1st place in the Best of Cincinnati 2014, Tea Category The award was presented by City Beat Magazine.
According to Kern, 1,000,000 votes from 19,000 unique visitors were cast in the Shops and Services Reader Picks. As she states, "(I'm) just so excited Tea is a category!"
Teavana came in 2nd place, followed by Spice & Tea Exchange in 3rd place.
Churchill's Fine Teas specializes in loose leaf tea and carries over 265 varieties. Unique features include an in-store adventure in tea by offering an amazing aroma upon entering the store with a wall of samples tins to be viewed, sniffed and touched. Kern states, "By displaying by tea category, flavors, health benefits and ingredients, we get to enjoy the response of our customer experience."
She adds, "Carrying this many teas requires sourcing tea from a great number of tea merchants, distributors, and manufacturers. Many of the teas are sourced by visits to the World Tea Expo. We continually research tea options and always experience new teas at the Expo to add to our collection."
