Healthy Beverage Expo Announced

LAS VEGAS, Nev.

An all-new tradeshow featuring nutritional, functional and enhanced beverages will co-locate with World Tea Expo at the Las Vegas Convention Center June 7-9, 2013.

The Healthy Beverage Expo will showcase new products, new ideas, and new beverage distribution channels.

The event was created “to provide greater value to attendees and exhibitors of World Tea Expo while also giving healthy beverage suppliers a community of their own — just as World Tea Expo did for tea ten years ago,”  said World Tea Media Director George Jage.

“Healthy” is hot and healthy beverages are cool,” according to the company’s website.

“This is a smart new tradeshow and conference focused exclusively on a fast-growing trend,” said Jage.

Jage funded, founded, and launched the first North American tea trade show in 2003. The serial entrepreneur has more than 20 years of experience creating B2B events and fostering the communities they serve.

Healthy Beverage Expo will co-locate with World Tea Expo in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. "There is perfect symmetry as tea itself is the second healthiest beverage in the world. Each event will have its own area of the hall, dedicated registration, education conference and special events, yet attendees can easily participate in both events and exhibitors will have access to both audiences," explains Jage's wife and business partner, Kim Jage.

Healthy Beverage Expo will celebrate healthy beverages, explains Kim Jage. "The educational conference will focus on trends, new distribution channels, science and ever-changing regulations," she said. Products displayed on the floor will include nutritional, functional and enhanced beverages.

"We will offer interactive and fun taste tests and hope to enlist Clark County School District students as evaluators," said Kim Jage.

Phil Lempert, known as the Supermarket Guru, will address a combined audience of attendees in his keynote, tying the the events together, explained Kim Jage who launched both the North American Tea Championship and the World Tea Buyer's Guide. Kim serves as Sales and Marketing Director of Healthy Beverage Expo.

Attendees will discover new products, flavors, and nutritional formulas while engaging with top-selling consumer favorites. Which functional and enhanced products will drive sales in the year ahead?

Retail sales of healthy beverages continue to climb, with no slowing in sight. Sports Beverages are up 8.8%, bottled water is up 4.1% and ready-to-drink tea 4.8% in volume while carbonated sodas and non-blended juices slip. In 2011 Gatorade had the 5th highest volume of all liquid refreshment beverage trademarks breaking the billion gallon mark, according to the Beverage Marketing Corp. Nestle Pure Life beverages ranked 7th with 819 million gallons sold.

Are you positioned to meet the growing demand? The Healthy Beverage Expo was conceived and created to make certain that you do, said Kim Jage.

Take three days in June to concentrate on healthy beverage sales, and find the vendors, distributors and new product sensations that will put you on the leading edge of a surging market, she said.

Healthy Beverage Expo is produced by World Tea Media, a division of F + W Media, an integrated media company and experienced show producer with a record of creating successful events and strong communities for specific industry categories.
