Johnny Bourlett recently joined QTrade Teas as vice president of operations. In this capacity, he will lead the manufacturing, warehousing and account management teams. Bourlett, along with Erik Ylanan, QTrade CFO, and Kingsley Alagaratnam, who heads supply chain, will also be a member of the executive management team with shared responsibility for the growth, profitability and strategy of the company.
Bourlett spent 17 years working with Amway/Nutrilite, where he progressed rapidly through the manufacturing organization in California. After his time with Amway, he spent a couple of years with Herbalife, also in a senior manufacturing role. Most recently, Bourlett led operations at Quest Nutrition, which is a company that underwent very dramatic growth over the past few years.
Bourlett's deep experience in food manufacturing, especially with organic ingredients, which was built during his tenure at Amway, combined with his experience with rapid change and growth at Qwest, make him an unusually appropriate candidate to lead our operation.
