St. Patrick’s Day Green Drink Ideas

The Republic of Tea offers these creative green beverage recipes for celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. Try making a Matcha Smoothie or Green Mocktail for a healthy fun way to liven up the day.

Green Smoothies for St. Paddy’s Day

To create any of the smoothies below, simply combine all ingredients in a blender, blend for 1-2 minutes (or until smooth), and enjoy sip by sip! All recipes are single-serve.

Basic Matcha Smoothie

Smooth, creamy and sweet, this classic and simple recipe can be dressed up with additional ingredients or enjoyed as-is.

  • 1 Organic U•Matcha Single Sips® packet
  • ½ cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1 banana (peeled and sliced)
  • ¼ cup milk of choice
  • ½ cup ice cubes

Tropical Matcha Smoothie

Bring some island vibes to your St. Paddy’s Day celebration with this decadent smoothie.

  • ¾ cup coconut water (or coconut milk for a creamier texture)
  • 1 banana (peeled and sliced)
  • ½ cup mango
  • ½ cup ice cubes
  • 2 teaspoons shredded coconut

Matcha Breakfast Smoothie

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day! Fuel up before a long day of parades and parties with this nutrient-rich green smoothie.

  • 1 Organic U•Matcha Single Sips® packet
  • 1 teaspoon wheat germ
  • 1 banana (peeled and sliced)
  • 5 strawberries
  • ½ cup milk of choice
  • 1 teaspoon agave syrup
  • ½ cup ice cubes

Mint, Melon, & Matcha Smoothie

What’s better than one festive, flavorful, and refreshing green ingredient for your St. Paddy’s beverage? Three of them!

  • 1 Organic Daily Greens™ Single Sips®
  • 1 cup honeydew (cubed)
  • ½ cup milk of choice (or coconut water for a lighter texture)
  • ½ tablespoon fresh mint leaves (stems removed)
  • 1 teaspoon agave syrup
  • ½ cup ice cubes

Note: You can also make your favorite smoothie from this list into a colorful St. Paddy’s Day smoothie bowl. Simply blend the ingredients together, then pour into a bowl. To make it picture perfect, top with sliced fruit, coconut flakes, granola, dried berries, or other toppings.

Green Mocktails for St. Paddy’s Day

Emerald Lemonade

Be transported to the Emerald Isle with this refreshing and vibrant green lemonade.

  • 1 Organic U•Matcha Sips® packet
  • 8 oz. fresh lemonade
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Place all ingredients in a shaker and shake until smooth. Pour into a tall glass.

Matcha Cooler

Minty, cool, and light, this green drink is perfectly for sipping on a warm spring day.

  • 1 Organic Daily Greens Single Sips packet
  • 8 oz. coconut water
  • Juice from ½ lime
  • 2 tbsp fresh mint leaves
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Place the mint leaves in a shaker and muddle well. Add all remaining ingredients and shake until smooth. Pour into a tall glass.

Matcha Highball

This bright green non-alcoholic beverage is the perfect accompaniment to any St. Paddy’s Day celebration.
