Questex’s 2022 World Tea Best of Awards, which will recognize tea leaders and innovators across five key categories, is now open for voting at the World Tea Conference + Expo website.
Voting will close on Feb. 15, and voting is open to everyone.
Categories for this year include:
1. Best Charity Based Social/Community Program
2. Best Innovative Marketing Campaign (Print or Social Media)
3. Best Sustainable Packaging (Any Tea Product or Herbal, with or Without Camellia Sinensis)
4. Best Tea Making Equipment Innovation, Consumer
5. Best Chain Restaurant Tea Program (Iced & Hot).
The World Tea Best of Awards program honors some of best organizations, leaders, products and campaigns from the tea industry, with the categories changing from year to year. Nominees embrace pillars of future focus, experiential, education and connection.
“I am always happy when we succeed in recognizing companies that have worked hard and deserve being being honored with a World Tea Best of Award,” said FaithAnn Bailes, conference and content manager for the World Tea Conference + Expo.
Bailes noted that for 2022, World Tea branched out with a chain restaurant category, since the World Tea Conference + Expo is co-located with Bar & Restaurant Expo. “Tea is an important part of any great food service program, and it seems to be growing and evolving more each year. We look forward to celebrating all the wonderful nominees and winners at the upcoming World Tea Conference + Expo this March.”

20th Anniversary Celebration This March
Winners will be announced at the World Tea Conference + Expo during the event’s special 20th Anniversary Celebration on Monday, March 21 at 6 p.m. at the Westgate Hotel and Casino, which is next to the Las Vegas Convention Center.
